Donald Blahut, M.A. celebrated his 30th year as a clinical audiologist in 2008. He holds an undergraduate degree in secondary education/economics and a Master of Arts degree in Audiology. In 1987 he founded Audio-Logic Hearing Services, Inc. and remains its director today.

Mr. Blahut has dispensed thousands of hearing instruments and has worked with hearing impaired adults and children of all ages and with all types of hearing impairments. From the start, his professional philosophy has remained unchanged. "I think that sincerely listening to patients and treating them with the same care and respect that I myself would want is priority number one. To me, this is even more important to ultimate patient satisfaction than the numerous technological advances that have occurred in the hearing instrument field."

Mr. Blahut is a cooperating supervisor of clinical experience for the graduate Audiology program at Northern Illinois University. Through the years he has helped to train numerous graduate Audiology students, helping them to become professional audiologists. He is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Illinois Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Allison Green, Au.D., has been practicing audiology since 2000 and joined Audio-Logic Hearing Services Inc. in May of 2008.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Northern Illinois University.  Allison earned her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2006 from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology. 

Since graduation, Allison has practiced in private medical settings in which she has worked collaboratively with ear, nose & throat (ENT) physicians.  “I really like the diversity of patients I see in this setting and I like having the opportunity to explain how their particular ear problem may be affecting their hearing and communication.”  She adds, “I think it is very important that we spend time with the patient and their family explaining results and counseling them about options.”  

Allison enjoys working with patients of all ages and has experience evaluating both children and adults.  She specializes in the fitting of amplification and is well-trained on the most current hearing aid technology including receiver-in-the-canal (RIC) hearing aids and blue-tooth compatible devices.  In 2006, she completed specialized training in the area of pediatric hearing aid fitting.  She states, “It is very exciting to help an individual hear again, it is especially rewarding when the patient is a young child.” 

Allison is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Illinois Academy of Audiology, and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
