Professional Background:

As a clinical diagnostic and rehabilitative audiologist, Dr. Parente was on staff at RI Hospital’s Speech and Hearing Department for almost 18 years.  At RI Hospital in Providence, RI, she supervised several students in audiology during their clinical practicums from various University programs.  She also assisted in the training of medical students, ENT residents and various medical staff.
 
During her 30 year career as an audiologist, she worked managing the audiology services of specific large ENT practices in RI.  Dr. Parente served as the staff Audiologist at Sargent Rehabilitation Center in Warwick, RI working closely with their sponsored Self Help for the Hard of Hearing (SHHH) Chapter in Rhode Island whose chapter President later became their national organization President.
 
Dr. Parente continued her career by managing her own practice in audiology in Rhode Island on the East Side of Providence.  Subsequently, she gained more diverse experience as a team audiologist for one of the leading hearing aid manufacturers in the hearing aid industry.
 
Dr. Parente has been trusted for providing thorough, professional and courteous care in audiology for over thirty years.  She has work closely with her patients to customize their hearing program to maximize each individual’s hearing potential.
