Jenita Guthrie completed her Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Memphis in 1982.  She received her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and has over 26 years experience as a licensed and certified Audiologist. Her undergraduate work, obtained from attending Vanderbilt University and Appalachian State University, led to her Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

    Jenita's early clinical Audiology years involved diagnostic hearing and balance testing, hearing aid fitting, aural rehabilitation, patient education services, pre and post-operative monitoring, and providing instruction for resident physicians for the Department of Head and Neck Surgery for both Washington University Medical Center and St. Louis University Medical Center.  She has over 20 years of extensive experience providing educational seminars and training support for dispensing Audiologists and Hearing Aid Dispensers across the United States.  Currently, we are happy to have her at the Audiology Center of Southlake where she assists Dr. Bryan by providing audiological diagnostic testing, and provides full service Hearing Aid Fitting and Counseling for our patients in need of hearing instrumentation.  Her Board Associations have included, the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists, American Academy of Audiologists, Texas Speech and Hearing Association, and the Scott Haug Audiology Foundation.
