Catherine grew up knowing she wanted to help people solve their hearing problems. Both her grandfather and grandmother Bieri were hearing impaired. Her grandmother was also blind, and by 10 years old, Cathy could communicate by finger spelling in her grandmother's hand. Her father, Gottlieb Bieri, was a pioneer in providing new technology in hearing improvement.
Cathy earned her B.A. in speech and audiology at Michigan State, an MSC in speech pathology at Auburn University and an M.A. in audiology at Central Michigan University. Cathy embarked on a career in the field of audiology and speech pathology by taking advantage of the opportunity to work with her father at Bieri Hearing Services.
In 1986 when her father passed away Cathy assumed the responsibilities of president of Bieri Hearing Clinic, while continuing to serve her patients as a speech pathologist and audiologist.
Always up to a challenge, Cathy has opened new locations in Midland, Frankenmuth and Bay City, while raising her son Shaun, born in 1988, She credits her success to helping people live a better life by improving their hearing and speech through her attention to personal care and utilizing the most advanced hearing technology.

Roxanne Kapala earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders at Northern Michigan University, her Masters degree in Audiology at Central Michigan University and a Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital and Medical Center.
Her experience includes Staff Audiologist for a five physician ENT practice in Wichita, Kansas; a Consulting Audiologist for an earmold manufacturer; and Staff Audiologist for Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming, Michigan.
Roxanne missed being near her family and friends and returned to the area to work in November 2000, and to raise her son Sam. Kapala's decision to join Bieri Hearing Services was based on their reputation for excellent service and caring, which fits perfectly with her own philosophy.

Martha Anderson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology/Speech and Hearing at the University of Michigan and her Masters degree in Audiology at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. After graduation in 1987 she worked with Dr. Nicholas Redfield for 5 years and other Saginaw area Otolaryngologists. She has been with Bieri Hearing Services since 1992.
After earning her degrees, Martha returned to Saginaw and married a high school classmate and began her family. For Martha, life is very busy. Along with her career, she and her husband are raising their 3 children, Katrina born in 1995, Natalie bom in 1998 and Nicholas bom in 1999. Busy as she is, Martha loves helping people, like treating elderly patients. She enjoys listening to their stories and telling them some of her own.
Martha is a Polish lady (with the maiden name of Mikolaski) who loves to help with the pronunciation of any longer Polish names.

In 1986, Sue Rabior began working at Bieri Hearing after receiving her Masters degree in Audiology from Central Michigan University. After working for 2 years in Grand Rapids she decided to return to Saginaw to work at Bieri Hearing Services again. She's been there since 1991.
Along with pursuing her career at Bieri Hearing, Sue and her husband Bill are enjoying their daughter, Gabrielle who was bom in 1998.
Sue finds great satisfaction in counselling her patients and their families about hearing impairment. Much care is given to help them understand hearing loss and how it can be improved with the latest and best products.

By 1990, Linda Meyer had earned her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Arts degree. From 1992 -1996, she served as Industrial Audiologist at Constance Brown Hearing and Speech Center.
Linda's love of helping people and Bieri Hearing's willingness to work with each client's individual needs is what attracted her the position. Having worn hearing aids since the age of 5, Linda knows first hand what it's like to be hearing impaired. She willingly shares her personal experiences to help others deal with their own, or a family member's hearing loss.
Linda enjoys attending the dance recitals and gymnastic classes of her daughter Shelby, bom in November 1993.
Experiences like fitting an 80 year old blind woman with super powered digital hearing aids and seeing the improvement it made in the woman's life, is what makes Linda proud to be part of Bieri Hearing Services.
Hearing Aid Specialist
Sophia Meyer received her training in Hearing Aid Sales & Service through the International Hearing Aid Society. In 1982 she obtained her State of Michigan License for Hearing Aid Sales.
While working at Bieri part-time during high school, Sophia gained an empathy for the needs of the hard of hearing.
Her greatest satisfaction comes from going the "extra mile" to service her client's needs. For example she has serviced patients' aids in their car when they had difficulty walking into the office.
Sophia is proud that the product she sells makes such a profound improvement in the life of the patients, their families and their friends.
She and her husband of 30 years, keep busy providing a loving home for their three sons, Nick, Tony, and Alex.
