Huntington Hearing Center has served the Tri-state since 1990, providing comprehensive hearing evaluations, quality hearing instruments, industrial hearing evaluations, consultations, and consumer education/information.

David Smith, M.A., CCC-A, is a licensed and certified clinical audiologist and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Mr. Smith received his BA degree from Marshall University in 1969 and his Masters from Kent State University in 1974. He has been providing audiological services for the tri-state area since 1974, working with various ENT physician's prior to opening his own practice in 1990. Mr. Smith is a past-president of the West Virginia Speech and Hearing Association and the West Virginia Academy of Audiology and has served on the Executive Boards of both Organizations. Mr. Smith has also served on the board of the Autism Training Center at Marshall University and has presented papers at state and local professional meetings on Auditory Integration Training.

In January 2006, Huntington Hearing Center merged w/ HIMG to become HIMG-Huntington Hearing Center. The new office is located at the HIMG Regional Medical Center at 5170 US Rt. 60 East in the old Wal-Mart Building. The HIMG RMC is the regions premier health care facility employing over 60 physicians, including two ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) physicians.
