The American Tinnitus Association (ATA) is celebrating National Tinnitus Awareness week (May 10-16, 2009) in true style this year by hosting the first-ever Walk For A Cure. This inaugural event will raise money to support ATA's work, including critical support for their research and advocacy programs that both directly and indirectly fund essential tinnitus research.
The Walk encompasses two components; a physical walk in Orange, California on Saturday, May 16th and a virtual online walk that allows people from across the country and around the world to participate in this exciting event. All contributions to the Walk For a Cure will go towards ATA's mission and programs that focus on finding a cure for tinnitus.
