The University of Connecticut is pleased to announce a summer workshop on (Central) Auditory Processing Disorders: New Trends in Diagnosis and Management. Under the directorship of Dr. Frank Musiek, the two-day program will feature contributions from Jane Baran, Teri Bellis, Gail Chermak, Melissa McClure, Bob Jirsa, Debbie Moncrieff, Kent Morest, Jennifer Shinn, Doris Bamiou and Eliane Schochat. Information will be presented in lectures and panel discussions with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Audiologists, speech language pathologists, psychologists, and special education teachers interested in APD and related areas are encouraged to attend. The primary emphasis of the program will be on practical applications of techniques for the diagnosis and management of APD.
