Rayovac Ultra Pro Line and Audiology Online Announce the winner of the contest for the best new article written for consumers and patients, titled "Hearing Aids: Reasonable Expectations for the Consumer."
Douglas L. Beck Au.D., Editor-In-Chief of Audiology Online and Healthy Hearing reported, "There were many excellent submissions. In the final analysis, the reviewing teams at Audiology Online and Rayovac critically reviewed the final five papers, and Rose Allen Ph.D. was declared the winner.
Dr. Allen is an assistant professor of Audiology at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Her article will be featured on Audiology Online (www.audiologyonline.com) starting on May 20th and will be featured on Healthy Hearing (www.healthyhearing.com) starting on 4-22-2002. In addition, Dr. Allen was awarded $500 in American Express gift cheques from Rayovac Corporation."
