Minneapolis, MN (October 1, 2009) - ReSound introduces new hearing instruments with a surround sound experience
ReSound introduces Surround Sound by ReSoundTM, a surround sound processor providing breakthrough sound in six new hearing instruments.
Surround sound processing is designed to handle different sound inputs with the same goal as audio mixing in movie and music production. These hearing instruments capture bass and treble independently, and then blend them to create the richest most vibrant sound possible. Patients notice a significant difference in the fidelity of the sound generated by hearing instruments featuring surround sound processing.
Delivering on patient expectations
"Patients need amplification, of course," said Todd Murray, President of GN Hearing Care North America. "But they also want clarity, richness and comfort, everywhere and throughout their day. They are looking for a hearing instrument that gives them a natural-sounding ability to hear."
"ReSound has always developed technology around how hearing and the ear work naturally. ReSound is taking yet another step toward providing natural-sounding hearing with Surround Sound by ReSound. Your patients will experience sounds naturally, just as they expect from their hearing instruments."
Surround Sound by ReSound is available in the new product families of ReSound LiveTM and dot2 by ReSoundTM.
