The Veterans Administration has named Oticon, Inc. as an official supplier of hearing devices for the more than 5 millions veterans who seek health care through the VA system.

According to the Hearing Industry Association, the VA represents approximately 18% of the U.S. market for hearing aids. The VA has experienced unit growth of more than 29% for the 3 months ending on June 30, 2009 when compared to the same period of 2008.
