ReSound Awarded VA Contract

ReSound has been selected as one of the suppliers for the new Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Digital Hearing Aid Contract. The selection criteria used by the VA in selecting suppliers focused on technical expertise, experience and capacity.

President - GN ReSound North America, Todd Murray, said "We are pleased with the announcement of Resound's inclusion on the VA contract and energized by the work required to exceed the expectations of the clinic audiologists and veterans who will use our products. This award is further recognition of the strength of Resound products and our company's ability to successfully serve our veterans".

The Department of Veteran Affairs Digital Hearing Aid Contract takes effect November 1, 2009 at which time ReSound products will be available to veterans through the VA clinics. The contract includes not only the VA, but also the Department of Defense and other federal agencies within the 50 states, Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico.
