HLAA is thrilled to learn that on October 1, the State of Hawaii published their list of benchmark benefits under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Included in those benefits is coverage for hearing aids. The benefits ensure that people will be able to receive hearing aids for each ear every 60 months. Also covered is routine hearing exams, newborn hearing screenings and pediatric hearing screening.
Hawaii appears to be in the forefront of hearing health care benefits under the ACA, If your state includes hearing aids or other hearing health care services under ACA, let us know.
