Senator Bob Dole To Address American Academy of Audiology's General Assembly

(Reston, VA) Bob Dole will be the Keynote Speaker for the American Academy of Audiology's 15th Annual Convention & Expo in San Antonio, Texas. One of the most respected figures of the 20th Century, The Honorable Robert J. Dole is also one of its wittiest. A colossal figure in American politics and author of the American with Disabilities Act, Dole will deliver the Keynote Address at Convention 2003 during the General Assembly on Thursday, April 3 at 10:00 am.

Chairman of the World War II Memorial Campaign, Senator Dole also serves as counsel to one of DC's top law firms and is the author of two best-selling books on political humor (Great Presidential Wit: I Wish I Was in the Book and Great Political Wit: Laughing (Almost) All the Way to the White House) as well as a regular on the late night talk show circuit.

A true American icon, Dole's remarkable survival through World War II and his commitment to public service allowed him to rise to the pinnacle of leadership in the Republican Party twice. His 12 years as the leader of his party in the Senate set a record to make him the longest servicing Senate Leader of the Republican Party since the Party's founding in 1854.

The American Academy of Audiology's 15th Annual Convention & Expo is the premier event for audiologists and the hearing health industry.
