Take care of your heart! Recent research indicates prolonged exposure to loud noise damages our hearing as well as our heart. The good news is noise-related health risks are preventable. The best thing you can do is limit your exposure to environments with high noise levels. And, if you’re a hearing aid user, don't forget to use the memory settings on your hearing instrument to adjust volume in a noisy environment or wear ear muffs.
