Beltone held its 2012 National Meeting at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev., in May. The annual meeting, themed "Beltone Better than the Rest," was attended by nearly 800 members of Beltone's U.S. and Canadian dispenser network, as well as international guests representing over 10 countries.
"'Beltone Better than the Rest,' was not just the theme for this year's meeting, but remains the focus for Beltone moving forward," said Beltone President Todd Murray. "We aspire to be the best across all aspects of our hearing care practices and interactions with our patients."
Beltone announced the rebranding of BelCare, an industry-leading aftercare program that offers lifetime care for Beltone hearing aids. BelCare is unmatched in the industry and includes complimentary annual hearing screenings and free hearing aid inspections with cleaning and repair at over 1,500 Beltone Hearing Care Centers throughout North America. The rebranded BelCare will include new marketing materials: newspaper ads, brochures, delivery materials, and posters.
During the meeting, Todd Murray congratulated all of the company's network members for their remarkable achievements and presented performance awards to top practitioners throughout the U.S. and Canada, including the prestigious President's Cup Award to Paul Robbins of St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. Attendees also participated in working breakout sessions that showcased the best strategies for getting patients to take action with their hearing loss. Guest speakers included emotional brand building expert Scott Deming and Olympian and best-selling author Vince Poscente.
