The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, in partnership with the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA), is accepting nominations for the 2011 Safe-in-Sound Innovation in Hearing Loss Prevention Award.
Applicants are evaluated against key performance indicators in a review process designed to evaluate hearing loss prevention programs in each of three industrial sectors: manufacturing, construction, and services. Individuals or organizations from any industrial sector may also be recognized for their dedication to fostering, creating and implementing new and unique advances in the prevention of hearing loss with the Safe-in-Sound Innovation in Hearing Loss Prevention Award.
A representative of the selected enterprises/organizations will be invited to the 36th Annual Conference of the National Hearing Conservation Association, where they will receive the award and present their award winning strategies.
