MADISON, WI - Rayovac, the world leader in hearing aid batteries, introduces Cochlear Plus, a new battery designed specifically to meet the needs of patients with cochlear implants.
Cochlear Plus will answer the specific high-power demands required by patients with these implants, a small but growing market. The new specialized battery will be available in a 60-pack carton in size 675. It will feature Rayovacs familiar, user-friendly dial packaging.
Cochlear Plus will be available in May/June 2004 through hearing care professionals and through a limited number of specialty retailers online. In addition to product and other information, the section will feature a locator that will direct consumers to hearing care professionals who offer Cochlear Plus batteries.
