Leigha Jansen, M.A., CCC-A, currently serves as the eLearning Director for www.AudiologyOnline.com, the world’s leading resource for online continuing education in hearing healthcare.  Leigha earned her Master's Degree in Audiology from University of  Minnesota-Twin Cities and has been licensed as an Audiologist in the State of Minnesota for over 10 years.

Her experience as an Audiologist spans both clinical and industry settings with a continual focus upon educating consumers and professionals within and outside the field of Audiology.  Leigha provided extensive clinical Audiology services in both hospital and clinic settings, including a major teaching hospital within the Twin Cities, specializing in pediatric assessment and advanced technology hearing aid dispensing.  With her strong interest in technology and education, Leigha worked for a major hearing instrument manufacturer supporting Audiology Services, Marketing, Product Management, and Professional Education.  During her tenure as a Technical Advisor and Education Specialist, she authored both patient and professional education materials, served as a professional trainer for colleagues and developed and managed an online continuing education program.

Leigha's passion is combining the power and reach of technology with effective learning models to conveniently meet the continuing education needs of hearing health care professionals and consumers.  In her current role as eLearning Director, Leigha serves the profession of Audiology by researching and implementing innovative and effective learning technologies.  Leigha is also a doctoral candidate at the Fischler School of Education and Human Services, Nova Southeastern University; her concentration in the Ed.D. program is Instructional Technology and Distance Education.
