A.U. Bankaitis, PhD, is Vice President and General Manager of Oaktree Products, Inc. Dr. Bankaitis completed her doctorate at the University of Cincinnati in 1995 where her funded research investigated the effects of varying degrees if HIV on the auditory system. This work led to a niche expertise in infection control. As an audiologist, she has held clinical, academic, and administrative positions including Director of Audiology at St. Louis University Medical Center and Marketing Product Manager for a company manufacturing an implantable hearing aid. She has authored several popular books including “Cerumen Management” and “Infection Control in the Audiology Clinic”.
